Srinagar: Clashes erupted in Aanchar area of Soura in Srinagar after locals held a protest against raids and arrests on Thursday, reports said.
It was not immediately known how many youths were arrested from the area however locals alleged that police raided many residential houses.
The protesters clashed with police and forces deployed in the area, local sources said.
The protesters pelted stones on the government forces who responded by firing teargas shells, local sources said.
