Earlier in the day, the Kashmiri-bound passengers who are stranded for a week raised anti-government slogans near Kanal road in Jammu “to grab authorities’ attention”. They were demanding either the restoration of strategic Srinagar-Jammu highway or airlifting them to Srinagar.
In the meantime, clashes erupted between the students of Science College Jammu and the passengers from Kashmir, resulting in injuries to several persons and damage to many cars. (GNS)
