Clashes broke out between the government forces and people in Tarigam village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday after forces launched cordon and search operation (CASO) in the area.
Reports said that soon after the CASO was launched a group of youth appeared on streets pelted the forces with stones. Forces responded by firing tear gas, triggering further clashes. However, there were no reports of any damage.
