Massive clashes erupted in Reshi Bazar, Cheeni Chowk and Sherbagh areas of old town after congregational prayers.
Three youth have suffered injuries and they have shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.
Meanwhile, reports said that at least 15 youths were arrested by forces during clashes in the district.
Reports quoting local sources said that forces chased stone pelting youth during clashes and some of them entered the Jamia Masjid to save themselves from being caught.
Locals alleged that forces entered the masjid and arrested at least 15 youth.
