SRINAGAR: A 20-year-old boy was found dead in mysterious circumstances at his home in the Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
Officials said that during the night hours of Wednesday, a youth was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home. The deceased has been identified as Wajid Ali (20), son of Mohd Reyaz, a resident of Kaniti, currently living in Mendhar and was studying in 11th Class.
A police team soon reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
