SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested an active militant of Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Quoting a police officer news agency KDC reported that a joint team of Police and army’s 02 RR, 62RR apprehended an active militant at Pushkar area in Budgam district.
He identified the arrested militant as Hamid Nath, a resident of Peth Zanigam who was active in 26 Feberuary this year.
Hamid was close associate of top Lashkar Commander Mohammad Yousuf Kantro alias Kantro , the officer added.
