SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed grief over the loss of three lives in separate shooting-stone incidents at Raggi Nallah and Jathi Ganika in Doda district, directing the administration to ensure immediate medical treatment for the injured and extend all possible assistance to the affected families.
According to an official statement, six people were injured in the incidents. The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also wished the injured a speedy and complete recovery.
Abdullah instructed the district administration and health authorities to provide prompt and adequate medical care to the injured, stressing that every possible support should be extended to the affected families without delay.
The Chief Minister also expressed sympathy with families who lost livestock after a lightning strike at Mal Pathar Dhar.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting people affected by natural calamities, Abdullah said the administration would continue to closely monitor the situation and ensure all necessary assistance reaches those impacted.
