Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Wednesday laid the foundation stone of multi-level parking at Sheikhbagh Srinagar.
Minister of State for Home & Medical Education, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone were also present on the occasion.
The chief minister arrived at around 1 pm and as soon as she unveiled the plaque on the foundation stone she left in a jiffy, disappointing the media persons who were waiting there.
All others who present were surprised to see CM leaving so instantly.
Even the security personnel were shocked. “Why didn’t she even stay for a minute,” a junior cop was seen asking his senior.
Syed Altaf Bukhari, local MLA was conspicuous by his absence, both in the crowd and the plaque.
