CM Mufti Seeks ‘Credible’ Inquiry in Hajj Deaths

Appealing to detest from blame-game in Hajj episodes which witnessed deaths of over thousand Muslims during annual Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Saturday sought a “credible inquiry” in the incidents.

Speaking during the obituary references, Mufti said, “there should be no blame-game on the issue.” “It is every one’s loss.”

Mufti further said, “I express my sympathy with the bereaved families.”

In the crane crash incident and Mina stampeded, over 1000 Muslims lost their lives while same number are injured.
