SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday handed over appointment orders to 52 beneficiaries under SRO-43 and the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS).
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the appointments were issued as part of the government’s compassionate assistance measures for eligible families.
SRO-43 provides for employment to a dependent family member of a government employee who dies in service or to victims of militancy-related incidents.
The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the appointees and expressed hope that they would serve with dedication, sincerity, and a sense of public responsibility, the CM’s Office said in a post on X.
