SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday handed over regularisation orders to Contingent Paid Workers (CPWs) of the School Education Department during a function held at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.
Minister for School Education Sakina Itoo was also present on the occasion, along with Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dheeraj Gupta, Special Secretary School Education Ghulam Rasool Mir, Director School Education Kashmir Naseer Ahmad Wani, and other senior officials of the department.
The Chief Minister personally distributed the orders to CPWs from Ganderbal and Bandipora districts and conveyed his best wishes to them. He expressed hope that the employees would continue to serve with sincerity and dedication, contributing to the strengthening of the School Education Department and improving public service delivery.
The beneficiaries thanked the Chief Minister and the government for resolving their long-pending demand and issuing regularisation orders.
