SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Royal Springs Golf Course in Srinagar to review its functioning and assess measures aimed at improving infrastructure and visitor facilities.
The meeting focused on enhancing overall operational efficiency, upgrading amenities and strengthening the experience for golfers and tourists visiting the facility.
According to officials, discussions also centred on strategies to promote Jammu and Kashmir as a key destination for golf tourism, with emphasis on improving its visibility on the national and international golfing circuit.
The Board deliberated on development initiatives aimed at positioning the Royal Springs Golf Course as a premium sporting and tourism asset in the Union Territory.
