Chief Medical Officer Bandipora narrowly escaped when part of a ceiling collapsed, sending plaster of Paris (PoP) crashing on to a table and the floor on Wednesday afternoon.
Reports said that Dr Bilques CMO Bandipora was present at her office when a large section of the plaster ceiling collapsed.
During the incident, some furnishings and equipment in the office were damaged.
The CMO office is situated in the Mini Secretariat of Bandipora, which is only a few years old.
