Chief Medical Officer, Pulwama has urged the people of the district to avail the benefit of 108 Ambulance Service available 24*7 in the district.

She said it will ensure the delivery of public health care services to the patients at their doorsteps by providing transportation to patients requiring immediate medical care.  She added that round the clock transportation service will be provided to the patients requiring urgent medical care, especially critical, accidental victims, pregnant women and sick children.

She further said that 102/108 ambulances are fitted with Global Positioning System (GPS) in all the blocks of the district besides 4 Basic  Life Support (BLS) ambulances and 1 Advanced life support (ALS) ambulance has already been commissioned for services.
