Coalition Government Running Paper Horses Only: Congress

Expressing serious concern over the issues concerning people of Karnah and elsewhere, JK PCC Chief G A Mir said that Karnah is a neglected part of J&K in every respect.

“No development works are being taken up, instead of strengthening people, Coalition government led by PDP is discriminating with people. Congress Party alone can ensure overall development of the State and strengthening people in far flung areas,” he said while addressing a public rally at Tangdhar in Karnah Tuesday.

Expressing serious concern over the pathetic Condition of People of Karnah PCC Chief said that people not only in Karnah; but elsewhere are suffering badly in absence of basic facilities. Coalition government is neglecting people of Karnah and doesn’t   care about the issues concerning people there, he said.

Addressing the gathering PCC Chief said that approach of the Coalition government about the wellbeing of people living in far flung areas is indifferent, unfortunate too, for the fact they (people) have been left at the mercy of God. Being the residents of remotest place, in view of the topography of the area (Karnah) People of Karnah and other far flung areas   deserve to be provided every facility, because due to bad weather they remain disconnected from rest of the State mostly during winter season, he said.

Coalition government has confined itself to just issuing Press Releases only, but the fact remains, nothing is visible on the ground. Tall claims about overall development of the State by the Coalition government led by PDP have proved a futile, PCC Chief said.

PCC Chief said that construction of Sadhan Tunnel which will connect Karnah with Kupwara is the urgent requirement of people of Karnah, which could give a respite to the people and can ensure their safety, but the PDP led Coalition government is not serious about the Development of Karnah and other remote areas, rather they are shifting the projects started by previous government in a well-planned manner, on political lines, he said.
