Cold wave conditions continued in the Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh region on Thursday as minimum temperatures across the Valley remained below freezing point.

The Met department has forecast it will be partly cloudy in the valley for the next 24 hours..

The minimum temperature in Srinagar was minus 2.6 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam recorded minus 4 and Gulmarg recorded minus 4.6  degrees Celsius.

Leh town was the coldest in the valley at minus 8.6 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperatures in the Jammu region were: Jammu city recorded 8.8, Katra 8, Batote 2.7, Bannihal 0.2 and Bhaderwah 0.7 degrees Celsius.
