Hurriyat delegation with widow of a summer unrest victim in Srinagar

SRINAGAR

Hurriyat (m) has started visiting various parts of Kashmir valley to offer condolences and solidarity with the families of the youth who were killed by government forces in the recent months.

Mirwaiz had sent a delegation led by Engineer Hilal War to the residences of martyred youth Irfan Fayaz Wani of Fateh Kadal, ATM guard Fayaz Ahmad Shah of Chattabal, and Abdul Qayoom Wangnoo, a driver of Aali Kadal. They expressed sympathy and solidarity with the parents and family members of the slain youth.

Meanwhile, an official spokesman said DC Poonch Mahammad Harun visited the family of fifteen year old boy Tanvir Ahamed S/O Faiz Mohammad, at Degwar – Noorpur. A student of ninth class, he was killed in recent LoC clashes.

DC paid condolences to the family and sympathized them in their grief hours. He assured his full support to deceased family and handed over rupees one lakh ten thousand out of relief and Red Cross to the family. Besides, he instructed revenue official to examine the case under SRO 43 in favour of NOKs of dead and submit its report for further necessary action to District Authority.
