Appealing masses of Udhampur parliamentary constituency not to pay heed to traditional and senseless arguments of Congress and BJP, AIP President Er Rasheed has said that Pakistan and Muslims are by no way threat to India’s sovereignty and interests.
Addressing around a dozen rallies on second day of his tour to Udhampur parliamentary constituency at Gool Gulabgrah, Tuksan, Thathri, Bhelaisa, Baderwah and other places Er Rasheed said, “The hate mongering being done by BJP and the negative response shown by Congress by creating hateredness against Pakistan and Indian Muslims is just an attempt to get votes and by creating fear psychosis among ultra-nationalists both the parties are causing a huge damage to India’s National interests.
Er Rasheed said “Neither Pakistan nor the Muslims are a threat to India’s sovereignty but the politics of divide and rule and hatred ness is the biggest threat India is facing as a nation. It is unfortunate that millions of Muslims living in India have the identity crises and just to create and protect their respective vote banks BJP and Congress are always trying to keep the debate burning.”
Er Rasheed while accusing successive governments of neglecting far-flung areas especially Muslim dominated constituencies of Jammu province demanded a white paper on funds allotted and spent on various schemes and projects in areas like Gool Gulabgrah, Mahore, Bhalesa, Banihal, Dooda, Ponch and Rajouri. He said it should be kept in the public domain so that the ugly face of traditional political parties is exposed.
He said, “Be it BJP, Congress, NC or PDP all these parties have done huge injustices to the population of these remote areas. Poor connectivity, lack of basic immunities like drinking water and electricity are yet a distant dream for the ill-fated population in these areas. Just a few individuals and families have suppressed the genuine voices and try to ensure that no pro-people voices emerge in the entire Jammu province, however, AIP will try to reach out in every area and will aware masses about their rights and duties.”
Er Rasheed thanked masses for offering their support to AIP candidate Shabir Mughal and said that people need to discharge their duty towards their conscience by voting in favour of Shabir Ahmad Mughal. Besides Er Rasheed Party District President Ramban, Arif Waheed Nayak, Party nominee Shabir Mughal, District President Dooda Najam-u-Saqib and others spoke in the rallies and appealed masses to strengthen the voice of AIP in the state particularly Jammu province.
Er Rasheed asked Congress, NC and PDP how is congress nominee Vikram Aditya Singh secular if he resigned over Asifa Rape and Murder case and sided with criminals.
“Supporting him has exposed the real face of so-called regional and secular parties,” Er Rasheed added.
