SRINAGAR: The Congress party had a meeting in Srinagar on Saturday to talk about their party’s activities in Jammu and Kashmir. They discussed the upcoming ULB Elections and the current political situation in J&K. They also talked about other challenges they are facing.

The meeting was led by Tariq Hameed Karra, the Chairman of the Political Affairs Committee of JKPCC. Rajani Patil, who is in charge of AICC J&K and is an MP, and other committee members were also present. They had detailed discussions about the current political situation in Jammu and Kashmir. They also discussed the upcoming ULB elections in J&K and made a plan to address the challenges faced by the people due to the ongoing rule by the central government.

The committee expressed concern about the delay in holding assembly elections in J&K. They resolved to fight for the restoration of democracy and statehood in J&K. They urged the central government to allow elections to take place without any further delay.

Several prominent members attended the meeting, including former JKPCC Presidents G.A. Mir and Peerzada Mohd Sayeed, former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, former Ministers Mula Ram and Khemlata Wakhloo, former MLC G.N. Monga, and AICC Joint Secretary Manoj Yadav.
