The Congress Monday held a crucial meeting of its Senior Functionaries in the state including Ministers, Legislators, , Vice Presidents, General Secretaries, District Presidents and frontal organizations that started at SKICC Srinagar to devise strategy for the forthcoming Assembly election in the State.
Prof Saiffudin Soz, PCC president said that the meeting discussed a long list of issues pertaining to the party and its activities on ground in the state. “There was a consensus that integrity of Jammu and Kashmir can be best promoted by the Congress that has its presence in all the three regions of the state.”
He said that party leaders also put forth their feed back before Ms Ambika Soni the AICC general secretary and in-charge Jammu and Kashmir affairs and she has decided to hold meetings with the party cadres in groups and at an individual level also. Ms Soni was chief Guest while Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha. Ghulam Nabi Azad also attended the meeting, which was presided over by Prof. Saifuddin Soz President JK PCC.
