Two days after putting in his papers as minister in Jammu and Kashmir government, senior Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma Monday called for a Hindu Chief Minister in the state.

Sharma while attacking some of his NC colleagues over “discrimination” against the Jammu region Sharma said that Jammu and Kashmir needs a Hindu Chief Minister now.

While speaking to a TV channel Sharma said, “no law prohibits a Hindu from taking over as the CM of the state.

Sharma was Minister for Public Health Engineering and Flood Control.
