KL Report

Srinagar

Apparently the last reshuffle in the All India Congress Committee (AICC) ahead of next elections, Congress president Sonia Gandhi Sunday reconstituted the Congress working committee. Besides various other states, change at major strategic level has also been done in state of Jammu and Kashmir. The change which seems to be well thought out took place after the Rahul Gandhi’s recent visit to state.

Ambika Soni would be new in charge for J&K where as Mohan Prakash has been taken to Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Former Chief Minister of State and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad is new member of working Committee, surprisingly State Congress Chief has failed to make it to the working Committee.

Congress veterans, M L Fotedar and Karan Singh are permanent invitees to the working committee
