SRINAGAR

All the political parties except congress have decided to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Srinagar on Thursday.

Sources said that the representatives of ruling National Conference (NC), the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and all other smaller parties are scheduled to meet Modi in Srinagar later in the day to put forth their point of view. However, Congress has decided otherwise and the party is boycotting meeting PM.

“Our party has decided not to meet PM Modi in Srinagar,” a party leader informed Kashmir Life.

Modi is about to arrive in Srinagar where he is scheduled to meet flood victims and spend some time with them.

Earlier, Modi began his J&K visit with a trip to Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield and met army men there.
