SRINAGAR: A policeman was among two other persons killed in a road accident after a vehicle they were traveling in skidded off the road and fell into a 100-ft deep gorge in Poonch district on Tuesday, officials said.
They said that an Alto car (JK12C-6052) driven by Mohammad Sadiq (Constable) met with the accident near Zirat Plera. “In the accident, the cop along with another vehicle occupant Jameel, both residents of Plera were grievously injured.”
“While Sadiq, died spot, Jamil succumbed to his injured while undergoing treatment at SDH Mandi,” officials said.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard. (GNS)
