SRINAGAR: A Special Police Officer (SPO) died allegedly due to heart attack in Poonch district on Thursday, officials said.
Quoting a police official, news agency GNS reported that SPO Parem Parkesh son of Daya Nand of Village Dara Dullian complained of chest pain during duty at Shiv Gi Mandir Kuniyian this afternoon.
He was immediately shifted to Raja Sukhdav Singh Hospital Poonch, the official said.
However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, added the official.
