SRINAGAR: The body of a policeman was found under mysterious circumstances inside the rented room of his colleague in the Rajouri district on Thursday, local news gatherer GNC reported from Rajouri.
He has been identified as Senior Grade Constable Ifthar Ahmed son of Manzoor Ahmed of Ari Mendhàr Poonch, presently posted at DPL Rajouri. He was found hanging from the ceiling of the rented room of his friend, also a policeman, in Ward n. 7 in Rajouri.
SSP Rajouri Mohammad Aslam Choudhary told the news agency that the investigations are underway and all angles including suicide are being investigated.
