Srinagar:
The specials operations group of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Rashtriya Rifles of Indian army have cordoned off a village in Verinag area in southern part of Kashmir’s Islamabad district.
Reports said that Chonthipora village has been cordoned after the reports of the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that the militants who decamped with the rifles from the guardroom of Minister Syed Farooq Andrabi are trapped in the area.
