SRINAGAR: The number of Covid-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 1503 on Friday, after 14 more patients tested positive for the dreaded virus.

Dr S Saleem Khan, nodal officer COVID19 at GMC Srinagar said 14 more persons have been tested positive at CD hospital Srinagar.

He said that 14 samples tested positive out of the 620 processed in 24 hours.

Dr Khan said that the hospital has collected 450 fresh samples for the tests on Saturday, May 23. Now there are a total of 200 samples the results of which are awaited.

As of now, J&K has reported 1503 cases, out of which 763 are Active Positive, 684 have recovered and 21  have died.
