As many as 18 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive, sources said.

An official told Kashmir Life that 18 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at SKIMS.

“Of the 18 new cases, nine are from Shopian, four from Kupwara, two from Bnadipora and two are from Baramulla districts,” a senior official said.

He said all the cases are contacts of the earlier positive cases.

He added that 254 samples have tested positive and 4924 samples have tested negative at SKIMS till date.

As of now, J&K has reported 423 cases, of which   336  are Active Positive, 92 have recovered and 05 have died.
