SRINAGAR: As many as 83 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive, officials said.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 83 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 83 new cases, 28 from Anantnag, 19 from CRPF, 21 from Srinagar, 7 from Bandipora, 3 from Baramulla, 1 from Pulwama, 1 from Kupwara, 1 from Ganderbal, 1 from Shopian and one from other districts,” he said.

He said 2468 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours out of which 2385 were reported negative.
