SRINAGAR: The samples of 22 more people tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, raising the total of COVID-19 confirmed cases reported today to 2623.
Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo nodal officer for coronavirus control at SKIMS said that out of 858 samples tested at the viral diagnostic lab of the tertiary care hospital, 22 came out to be positive.
He said that 14 of them are from Srinagar, three from Shopian, two from Baramulla and one each from Pulwama, Budgam and Kupwara districts.
As of now, J&K has reported 2623 cases, of which 1646 are Active Positive, 946 have recovered and 33 have died; 04 in Jammu division and 29 in Kashmir division.
