SRINAGAR: Twenty four pregnant women among 81 more people tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, raising the total of COVID19 confirmed cases reported today to  2799.

Official sources said that among them, 66 were reported at CD hospital laboratory and 22 tested positive at SKIMS Soura.

Dr Saleem Khan nodal officer COVID19 at GMC Srinagar said 66 more persons including 26 pregnant women have been tested positive for COVID19 at CD hospital Srinagar.

“We are in the process of getting the details of the individuals.”

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo nodal officer for COVID-19 control at SKIMS said that 15 samples tested positive out of 1025 processed in 24 hours.

He said among them, 10 are from Srinagar, three from Budgam and one each from Anantnag and Kulgam districts.

As of now, J&K has reported 2799 cases, out of which  1813 are Active Positive, 953 have recovered and 33 have died; 04 in Jammu division and 29 in Kashmir division.
