SRINAGAR: As many as 33 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive, officials said.
Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 33 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.
“Of the 33 new cases, 19 are from Baramulla, five from Bandipora, three from Anantnag, four from Srinagar and one each from Kulgam and Kupwara districts,” he said.
He said 1983 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours.
He added that 974 samples have tested positive and 56709 samples have tested negative at SKIMS till date.
As of now, J&K has reported 2890 cases, out of which 1849 are Active Positive, 1007 have recovered and 35 have died.
