SRINAGAR: As many as 31 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive, officials said.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 31 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 31 new cases, 11 are from Srinagar, seven from Kupwara, five from Baramulla, five from Anantnag, two from Bandipora and one from Shopian,” Dr Yatoo said.

He said  2048 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours out of which 2017 samples have turned negative.

As of now, J&K has reported 4316 cases, out of 4316  positive cases, 2947 are Active Positive, 1324 have recovered and 48 have died; 05 in Jammu division and 43 in Kashmir division.
