As many as 34 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive, officials said.

An official told Kashmir Life that 34 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 34 new cases, 12 are from Kupwara, eight from Srinagar, four from Bandipora, three from Shopian, two each from Baramulla and Budgam, one each from Anantnag, Rajouri and Kulgam districts,” he said. “We are in the process of getting the details of the individuals.”

He said 2315 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours out of which 2281 samples have turned negative.

As of now, J&K has reported 3172 cases, out of which 2093 are Active Positive, 1048 have recovered and 36 have died; four in Jammu division and 32 in Kashmir division.
