SRINAGAR: As many as 43 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive,  officials said.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 43 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 43 new cases, 17 are from Anantnag, eight are from Bandipora, eight from Srinagar, four from Srinagar, two from Kulgam, two from Pulwama and one each from Kulgam and Ganderbal districts,” he said.

He said 1360 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours.

As of now, J&K has reported 4285 cases, out of which  2916 are Active Positive, 1324 have recovered and 45 have died.
