SRINAGAR: As many as 47 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive,  officials said.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 47 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 47 new cases, 22 are from Shopian, five from Kupwara, seven from Baramulla, five from Kulgam, three from Srinagar, two from Bandipora, two from Anantnag and one from Pulwama district,” he said.

He said 2625 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours.

He added that 1314 samples have tested positive and 73688 samples have tested negative at SKIMS till date.
