As many as 58 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive, officials said.

At SKIMS Viral Research and Diagnostic Lab (VRDL), 1430 samples were tested in last 24 hours. The tests yielded 58 positives, Dr Farooq Jan, medical superintendent SKIMS said.

“Of the 58 new cases, 27 are from Srinagar, 19 from Kulgam, four from Kupwara, seven from Baramulla and one from Pulwama district,” he said. “We are in the process of getting the details of the individuals.”

As of now, J&K has reported 2094 cases, out of which 1196 are Active Positive and 28 have died.
