SRINAGAR: A doctor among two more persons more people tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, raising the total of COVID19 confirmed cases reported today to 1423. With this, the total number of positive cases from this particular laboratory reported today has reached 33.
Dr Saleem Khan nodal officer COVID19 at GMC Srinagar said that one medical intern (doctor) from Psychiatry Department SMHS Hospital Srinagar and a 25-year-old female from Frislan Anantnag have tested positive for the dreaded virus at CD hospital laboratory.
“Doctor was staying at GMC Srinagar Hostel Campus Bemina,” he said.
The 701 samples were processed in one day at CD Hospital’s virology lab. Now there are a total of 200 samples the results of which are awaited.

As of now, J&K has reported 1421 cases, out of which 725 are Active Positive, 485 have recovered and 20 have died.
