Srinagar district administration on Saturday sealed four shops in Mehjoor Nagar area for violating the prohibitory orders imposed under section 144 in the district in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
“Four shops sealed at Mehjoor Nagar area for violating closure orders. Strict warnings issued in the area against future violations. Mohalla committees made responsible for ensuring adherence,” tweeted district administration Srinagar.
Restrictions have been imposed in the district under Section 144 as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-2019.
The administration has appealed the people of the district to cooperate with the administration by remaining indoors to prevent the pandemic from affecting them.
