SRINAGAR: A 65-year-old Covid-19 positive patient from Kulgam district died at CD hospital on Monday, taking the number of deaths due to novel Coronavirus disease to 15 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Salim Khan nodal officer COVID-19 at GMC Srinagar said that A 65-year-old female from Kulgam, who was admitted in Surgical ICU in SMHS Hospital as a case of subdural haemorrhage (SDH) tested positive for COVID today morning and was shifted to CD Hospital Srinagar where immediately after admission she had a cardiac arrest and instantly died.
With his death, the number of casualties due to the novel Coronavirus has reached 15 in J&K. Earlier, 14 patients have died due to COVID-19 including 12 from Kashmir and two from Jammu.
