The Jammu and Kashmir recorded the sixth fatality due to the novel coronavirus as a 72-year-old man hailing from Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district died on Saturday at SKIMS Bemina.
Reports said that the man had a medical history of illness with Pneumonia, hypertension and cardiac issues.
A resident of Tangmarg, he was admitted to the hospital on April 13.
As of now, J&K has reported 468 cases, out of which 411 were in Kashmir and 57 in Jammu. Six have died, while 109 recovered. More than 65722 people have been kept under surveillance.
