Coronavirus: Kashmir reports another death, toll 26

SRINAGAR: A 70-year old man from Sarnal village died at Government Medical College Anantnag on Wednesday, his sample testing positive for COVID19 posthumously.

A man from Sarnal village was admitted in on May 25, 2020, with underlying ailments like pneumonia bilateral, an official from GMC Anantnag said.

He said the patient died on Tuesday late evening and the body of the deceased had been kept in the mortuary of the GMC Anantnag till the report of the sample was available.

With his death, the number of casualties due to the novel Coronavirus has reached 26 in J&K.
