One more person has tested positive in Kargil area of Ladakh for coronavirus, taking the number of covid-19 patients to 14 in Ladakh Union Territory.

Deputy Commissioner Kargil Baseer Choudhary told Kashmir Life, a 32-year-old woman from Sunjaak village of Kargil in Ladakh tested positive for novel coronavirus on Thursday.

He said that the village is already under quarantine since last 15 days.

Meanwhile, two more positive cases were recorded from the adjoining Sankoo village earlier.

Coronavirus: In Ladakh, 3 Patients Recover Fully

Ladakh had received a total of 14 positive cases so far. With three of them recovered, the number of active cases has gone down to 11.

As of now, 50 persons have tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Kashmir Valley while the tally of such patients in the entire J&K has gone up to 62.
