SRINAGAR: Kashmir Chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries formally hands over a cheque of Rs 5-lakh to Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary IAS, District Commissioner Srinagar, and Chairman District Disaster Management Authority.

Coronavirus: PHD Chamber Hands Over Cheque Of RS 5 Lakh To DC Srinagar

A Delegation of  Kashmir Chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya and Baldev Singh Raina today  in its contribution in India’s fight against Covid-19  handed over a cheque of Rs-5Lakh towards the NGO Cell of District Disaster Management Authority, for distributing essential commodities, medical assistance, among needy people,  in Fight against Covid-19.

A Cheque of Rs 5 Lakh contribution from Kashmir Chapter was formally handed over to Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, District Commissioner Srinagar, Chairman District Disaster Management Authority and Dr. Syed Hanief Balkhi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar by Mushtaq Chaya, Mentor PHDCCI Kashmir, Baldev Singh Raina, Chairman PHDCCI-Kashmir and Executive Members of PHDCCI Kashmir Jan Muhammad Kaul, Showket Chowdhary, Humayun, and Tariq Rashid Ghani.

Baldev Singh Raina, while expressing his views, said that the PHD Chamber Kashmir is pledge bound to stand by the people and administration of the state whenever it is needed in the days to come.

“PHD Chamber applauds the active support of District Administration, frontline warriors like doctors, Para-medical staff, police personnel, Citizens of J&K, municipality workers and other voluntary organisations for their selfless services rendered for sincere efforts towards making J&K a Covid-free Region,” said Baldev Singh Raina.
