On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer, Health Department on Thursday set up a sample collection KIOSK at District Hospital Pulwama.
On the occasion Medical Superintendent said that administration has introduced an innovative portable unit for collecting samples from suspected corona virus-infected persons.
He said that this unique collection centre will not only reduce manpower needed for collecting samples for corona virus tests, but will ensure the safety of health workers while collecting sample from a suspected patient.
The sample collection centre in the district , has been established to facilitate throat swab sample collection of COVID-19 suspects.
