Authorities on Thursday said that curfew-like restrictions are likely to be imposed in Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir tomorrow in wake of Coronavirus scare.

A senior official told Kashmir Life that the restrictions would strictly be imposed in Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir valley.

“The decision to impose restrictions was taken as a preventive measure to avoid the spread of Coronavirus,” he said.

So far four positive cases of coronavirus have been reported from Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.

For the last two days, authorities have invoked strict measures to ensure that people flying in from outside must stay in quarantine, either at home or in a government facility.

Ban on entry of all foreign tourists have also been imposed in all Kashmir parts with immediate effect till March 31.
