Two more patients have tested positive for the dreaded virus in Jammu and Kashmir. With two more, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases reported on Saturday reached 42.
An official said that out of 42 new cases, 14 cases were confirmed at Viral Diagnostic Lab at SKIMS and 28 others at Chest Disease Hospital Dalgate.
Among the fresh cases include 23 from Anantnag, 5 from Srinagar, 7 from Bandipora, 3 each from Baramulla and Shopian while one is from Kupwara, he said.
As of now, J&K has reported 496 cases, out of which 439 were in Kashmir and 57 in Jammu. Six have died, while 109 recovered. More than 65722 people have been kept under surveillance.
