SRINAGAR: The number of Covid-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 1334 on Wednesday, after seventeen more patients tested positive for the dreaded virus.

While giving details, Dr Saleem Khan nodal officer COVID19 at GMC Srinagar said two pregnant women among 17 more persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at CD hospital Srinagar that include a 21-year-old man, 17-year-old female from Narwal Jammu, a 43-year-old male from Shama Chowk, 28-year-old female from lower Muthi, 23-year-old man from Baloora, a 21-year-old man from Gandhi Nagar, 18-year-old man from Akhnoor, a 45-year-old man from RS Pura Jammu, a 28-year-old pregnant woman from Khudwani Kulgam, a 35-year-old pregnant woman from Chatawan Shopian, a 34-year-old man from DH Pora, a 45-year-old man from Hawoora, a 39-year-old man from Dialgam, 32-year-old female from Gohan, 32-year-old female from Gohan Wailoo, 33-year-old female from Gudwail and a 32-year-old female from Sunderbani.

The CD Hospital lab has tested 706 samples in the past 24 hours of which nine were found to be positive, Dr Khan said.

As of now, J&K has reported 1334 cases, 670 are Active Positive, 647 have recovered and 18 have died. More than 119155  people have been kept under surveillance.
