A couple was killed on spot on Monday after they met with an accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district.
Reports said that a couple, identified as Manohar Lal, 60, and Taro Devi, 52, were travelling on a motorcycle on the highway at Lakhanpur when another vehicle hit them, resulting in on spot death of the duo. In this regard police have registered a case and further investigations have been taken up.
Meanwhile, in another accident in the district two men identified as Sahil and Rahul, both in twenties were killed and two others sustained injuries after their car they were travelling in collided with another vehicle. The deceased duo is said to be the residents of Jammu region. Meanwhile, the injured persons were shifted to the hospital for the treatment.
